// About

Build what gets noticed. Show what it earned.

Every job handed me the channel that was not working. Email with a 3% open rate. A HubSpot nobody trusted. A website where most of the traffic was bots.

Here is what happened to them. Email at CyberSaint went from 2% of pipeline to 12%. CareerCircle sold to jobseekers and the employers hiring them, two audiences that wanted opposite things from the same site, and I built it so each one saw its own story. Inbound leads grew 9,000% from a standing start. Workzone got honest numbers before it got a plan. A year later, marketing sources 86% of sales pipeline, up from 41%.

I run marketing as a revenue function, and I take the work seriously because of what it does. The brand decides who trusts you, the site decides who stays, the launch decides whether anyone notices, and the number at the end tells you if any of it mattered. I spend budget like it came out of my own account, because for six years it did, and I build teams that care about both the work and the result.

// On the numbers

You are wondering if the numbers are inflated. Good.

I would wonder too. Here is the thing about mine: I am the person who deflates them. My first audit at Workzone found that one city accounted for 64% of our sessions and the demo event was firing on page load, so 367 reported demos were 71 in reality. I had already put the old figures in a pitch to the CEO. I republished the corrected version under my own name, built a bot filter, and set the rule that nothing gets reported from a dashboard I did not build.

The dashboards now build themselves. Claude agents pull HubSpot, Slack, Search Console, SE Ranking and Peec every Friday and publish the pipeline view the CEO reads before I have had coffee. Every number on this site comes from one of those pulls or from a report I can open in front of you.

So when I say a LinkedIn landing page went from 0% conversion to 7%, or a credit union conference with no booth produced four sales-qualified demos, or Workzone holds the best average position in AI answers among sixteen brands, those are the numbers that survived me.

Hire me and you get the version of the number that holds up in the board meeting. Not the one that gets a round of applause in the all-hands and a correction two quarters later.

// What I do

What I do

Hover a card for the receipt.

Pipeline

Turning attention into revenue.

  • Demand generationI create the kind of inbound motion that doesn't need a hard sell. Content that earns trust. Timing that feels right. Offers that land without shouting.

    // Receipt

    Marketing's share of sales pipeline at Workzone went from 41% to 86%. Sales-qualified demos doubled year over year, 25 to 53 in Q3.

  • Measurement and analyticsI fix the instrument before I read it. If the number cannot survive a follow-up question, it does not go in the deck.

    // Receipt

    Found that 78% of site traffic was bots and demos were overcounted 5x. Rebuilt tracking; organic conversion went from 0.26% to 0.72%.

  • Conversion rate optimizationThis is where the bodies are buried. I dig into where your users bail, figure out why, and fix it without turning your site into a science experiment.

    // Receipt

    Demo and contact form sessions from US visitors 4.6x in a year. A LinkedIn landing page from 0% to 7%.

  • Growth hackingI poke at things until something breaks or something works. Then I write down the good part and scale it.

    // Receipt

    A rainbow-hat scavenger hunt with a live tracker app made events the #1 demo source in October, 36% of the month. Community sales up 203% at Workweek.

Attention

Getting found and getting read.

  • SEO and keyword strategyYes, I know how the algorithm works. No, I'm not going to write like a keyword stuffed chatbot. I build search strategies that show up, speak clearly, and don't make your brand sound like it lost a bet.

    // Receipt

    Site audit errors 245 to 12. Priority keywords in the top 10 from 8% to 19%. Monthly organic traffic value doubled. First for "workfront alternative."

  • Content strategyContent without strategy is just noise in a nicer font. If it's not driving awareness, pushing pipeline, or getting passed around, what's the point?

    // Receipt

    311 posts since August 2025 earned 1.58 million impressions. Workzone.com is retrieved in 32% of tracked AI answers, the highest rate of any domain in the top ten, ahead of asana.com at 16.5%.

  • Content creationEducational? Sure. Engaging? Absolutely. Boring? Never. I make content people want to screenshot, bookmark, or casually quote in meetings.

    // Receipt

    I wrote the page AI engines cite most for project management in banks and credit unions: 859 citations in 30 days.

  • Thought leadershipNo ghostwritten beige nonsense. If I'm writing thought leadership, it's going to have an actual point of view. Something with tension, teeth, and a sentence or two you'll want to steal.

    // Receipt

    Solo-hosted the AI Skills for Marketers webinar series. Vibe Coding 101 drew 160 registrants, 85 of them prospects, the most of any webinar in the company's history.

  • Social mediaI don't recycle blog posts with emojis and call it strategy. I write natively for the feed. Tight copy, smart hooks, and content that earns attention without begging for it.

    // Receipt

    Engagement up 698% at CyberSaint after restructuring the content approach.

Craft

The work itself.

  • Email marketingI write emails that get opened by humans. Not because of emojis. Because they sound like someone worth hearing from.

    // Receipt

    Email from 2% of pipeline revenue to 12% at CyberSaint. At Workzone, unique opens 4.2x and hard bounces from 11.8% to 0.2% while sends grew 5x.

  • CopywritingI write words that convert browsers into buyers. Every headline, email, and CTA gets tested and optimized because pretty copy that sits there doing nothing is expensive decoration.

    // Receipt

    Open rates from 3 to 4% up to 30 to 50% by changing the tone and nothing else.

  • Graphic designNo ugly decks. No mystery screenshots. Just clean, intentional design that knows its job and does it quietly.

    // Receipt

    Pitched and won Workzone's full rebrand, then built the brand system the agency, freelancers and team work from.

Leverage

AI doing the work I used to hire for.

  • AI-enabled operationsI treat AI like a team I manage. Clear jobs, checks, and a review. The agents do the pulling and publishing; I do the deciding.

    // Receipt

    Twelve AI-built internal tools replaced software purchases. Claude agents pull five sources every Friday and publish the CEO's pipeline dashboard without me.

  • AI searchBuyers ask ChatGPT before they ask Google. I make sure the answer has us in it, with the page it cites being one I wrote.

    // Receipt

    #1 average position among sixteen project management brands in AI answers, ahead of Asana, Monday and Smartsheet. Sales-qualified demos from AI search grew 6x in a year.

  • Building toolsWhen the campaign needs an app, I build the app. That week, in Lovable, instead of a ticket and a quarter.

    // Receipt

    Eight live Lovable apps for Workzone, from the approvals app the CEO signs decisions in to the conference tracker that made the booth optional.

  • AI enablementThe point is not that I use AI. It is that the CEO and Customer Success do now, because I set it up and taught them.

    // Receipt

    Brought Claude, MCP and Lovable to the company. The CEO builds his own customer-facing tools, CS automated QBR follow-ups, and a 65-tool MCP shortlist I ran in a week became the AI integration roadmap.

// Off the clock

The rest of it.

When I am not building marketing systems or reading Search Console like a conspiracy board, I am being emotionally blackmailed by two dogs, Ammy and Pan, while two cats, Lio and Hermes, supervise like small, judgmental landlords. They attend most of my meetings. Nobody has objected yet.

I planted milkweed to bring pollinators into the garden and it became a monarch rescue. I now raise caterpillars in a greenhouse, away from the wasps, and release the butterflies once they are ready. I cannot do anything halfway. This is a documented pattern.

I write sci-fantasy novels. Witches, wolves, haunted forests, people making terrible decisions in them. Before I was building pipelines I was building magic systems, and the two jobs have more in common than either would admit: both are about making a reader believe something and keep turning the page.

If you want to talk growth strategy, the best native plants for pollinators, or why haunted forests are criminally underused in fiction, I am your person.

// Management

The supervisors.

They attend most meetings. Their feedback is mostly about snacks.

  • Ammy the dog

    Ammy

    Senior VP of Interruptions

    Attends every call. Has never once had a point.

  • Pan the dog

    Pan

    Head of Security

    Barks at delivery drivers, squirrels and once, memorably, a leaf.

  • Lio the cat

    Lio

    Chief of Staff

    Sits on the keyboard when a meeting runs long. Correct every time.

  • Hermes the cat

    Hermes

    Auditor

    Watches from a shelf. Approves nothing.

Ready to lead what's next.

I'm exploring remote director-level opportunities in demand generation and marketing leadership. I've managed people, developed junior marketers, and led agency and cross-functional partnerships. I want to bring that experience, and an unusually practical command of AI, to a team ready to grow. Let's talk.
